 "Preparing Women for Prosperity"

Women in the United States control 75% of the total personal wealth, and yet, most women are not participating in the financial and estate planning process until they get crushed by an unexpected life event such as divorce, disability and death.  Stacy’s presentation, Preparing Women for Prosperity, shows advisors how to demystify and simplify the financial and estate planning process for women.   By implementing Stacy’s framework, participants can prepare their female clients not only for life’s unexpected events but also for a life of prosperity.

Stacy W. Hanley is a Principal of Lefkoff, Duncan, Grimes, McSwain, Hass & Hanley, P.C.   Stacy’s legal practice focuses on the individual client with respect to the client's business interests, assets and other wealth.  A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Stacy graduated from The Lovett School.  Stacy then graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University in 1996 with a B.A. degree in Classics and Economics.  Stacy graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1999.

Stacy began her legal career at Long, Aldridge & Norman, LLP in the commercial real estate group.  Stacy then went on to become General Counsel for Homes by Williamscraft, Inc., the homebuilding company started by her father, Wilmont Williams.  When Stacy’s father unexpectedly died in 2015, Stacy experienced firsthand the complexities of the estate administration process for family businesses.  Stacy then decided to join her current firm so that she could utilize her practical and legal experience to help individuals and families navigate the estate planning and estate administration process. Currently, Stacy serves on the Northside Youth Organization’s Executive Board.  She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.
